The proposed device for measuring the deformation of a pneumatic tyre contains a holder, which is fixed to the wheel rim in the tyre cavity, a rod with a ball tip, which is installed in guides fixed to the holder, resistive transducers designed for measuring the tangential, lateral, ant normal components of the tyre deformation, which are arranged at the shafts of a universal joint that is installed at the holder. The ball tip of the rod is fixedto the internal surface of the tyre. The guides are connected by a shaft, at which a resistive transducer for measuring the longitudinal deformation of the tyre is installed.
