The invention relates to a drink tin comprising a substantially cylindrical body (1) having in bottom (2) and an open top provided with a metal lid (3) crimped thereto which has a pouring hole closed by a opening unit (5). A detachable plastic lid (6) provided with a top (7) and a skirt (8) is arranged on the metal lid (3) of the tin. Said plastic lid (6) is embodied in such a way that it is latchable to the crimped metal lid (3) for reclosing the tin after breaking the opening unit (5). The inventive body can be embodied in the form of a standard metal tin body for pressurized drinks like carbonated drinks or beer and provided with a concave bottom having an annular abutment lip (4) and an opening device in the form of a pull tongue. The top on the plastic lid (6) is provided with an annular groover 10) which makes it possible to insert the abutment lip (4) of one tin into the groove (10) of another tin when said tins are placed on each other. Said plastic lid protects the tin top against dust and dirt, thereby making it hygienic, i.e. suitable for drinking. After the removal of the plastic lid and the break of the opening unit, said plastic lid can be rearranged on the tin, thereby making it easy handling.
