METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY MONITORING THE FULFILLMENT OF ROAD RULES

摘要

The proposed method for automatically monitoring the fulfillment of road rules implies measuring velocities of moving vehicles and recording violations. The data on the velocities of vehicles are entered into a computer together with the data on the number of the velocity meter, date of the violation, inspector of the road-patrol service, place of the violation, and patrolling route. The data on violations, which are stored in the computer memory, are periodically transmitted to the base computer of the road-patrol service and used in compiling reports.
