A method for obtaining mesostructural tungstate-containing zirconium dioxide with an arranged mesostructure of enhanced, promoted thermostability, high specific surface and narrow distribution of pores on radiuses includes mixing aqueous solutions zirconium sulfate, ammonium tungstate and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, hydrothermal treatment, washing the sediment with the distilled water, filtering out, drying in air at the room temperature, thereafter at 373 K with subsequent roasting till formation of porous material. The mixture aqueous solutions of zirconium sulfate and ammonium tungstate at the constant value of pH is added to the aqueous solution of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide .
