The proposed process for treating and utilizing low-radioactive solid waste of mining production consists in sorting, sifting, grinding, washing, and leaching the waste, then extracting uranium, utilizing residual products for using them as inert filler, utilizing nonradioactive waste for using them as construction materials, and providing the storage and burial of the unutilized waste. After sorting, grinding, and washing, the stored radioactive and nonradioactive waste are treated for separating the waste depending on the radioactivity. At the first stage of the treatment, the concentrate with high content of uranium is isolated. At the second stage, the concentrate with low content of uranium and pure residual products are isolated. The isolated concentrates are exposed to leaching or hydrometallurgic treatment. The pure products are separated and then used as construction materials.
