The engine has combustion cylinders (10, 12, 14) with exhaust outlets (20, 22) for outlet of exhaust gas, and a turbocharger with a turbine (18) that is coupled with a compressor. The outlets are connected to the turbine so that the gas drives the turbine. An outlet (30) of another compressor (26) is connected to the exhaust outlets to increase gas pressure in order to increase rotation speed of the turbine and the former compressor. An independent claim is also included for a method of supercharging a heat engine.
