The device has a reflection volume (4) which is placed downstream an inlet distributor (5). The distributor, an inlet duct (32) and a cylinder (21) have a resonance frequency corresponding to an excitation frequency of an engine (2) operating at a high speed. The volume and a derivation branch (7) have a resonance corresponding to the excitation frequency of an engine operating in the low speed. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising an air inlet device.
