PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum pump having a dynamo-electric machine of which configuration is simple. SOLUTION: The vacuum pump has the dynamo-electric machine. The dynamo-electric machine has: a stator 57, in which a coil 45 is wound around a stator core 38; a rotor core 84 fixed to a rotary shaft 83 inserted into the inner periphery section of the stator 57; and a permanent magnet 86 fixed to the rotor core 84.
