PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor that can stably prevent shaft vibration in any rotation area. SOLUTION: A reproduction and recording device of an information recording disk that rotatively drives the disk by the spindle motor comprises: a rotor wherein a plane orthogonal to the rotating shaft of the spindle motor and a cylinder parallel with the rotating shaft are formed, the cylinder is integrally fixed to the rotating shaft, and a driving magnet is arranged on the internal peripheral surface of the cylinder; a core composed of a magnetic body; a coil wound to the core; a cylindrical bearing housing with a bearing arranged therein and with the core fixed to its outside; and a stator composed of a base that supports the bearing housing. In the stator that opposes the plane, the spindle motor comprising an energizing magnet having a magnetizing region located within a opening angle of 180°in the radial direction from the rotation center of the rotor is used as the reproduction and recording device of the information recording disk.
