PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrolyte, hardly generating the leakage of the electrolyte and excellent in initial period specific conductivity characteristics, while having a small specific conductivity rate of change at high temperatures. SOLUTION: The electrolyte (E) consists of the monoanion (A) of aliphatic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (A0) shown by general Formula (1), an electrolytic substance (C), consisting of cation (B), and organic solvent (D). isomerization energyΔH for the electrolyte for the electrolytic capacitor calculated by the Formula:ΔH=E(A0)-E(A1), from the difference between the formation energy E(A0) calculated by the CAChe system PM5 method of energy (A0) and another formation energy E(A1) calculated by the CAChe system PM5 method of isomer dicarboxylic acid (A1) shown by general Formula (2) is not less than -50kcal/mol and not more than 3kcal/mol.
