PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aperture ratio (AR) measurement method of land pre-pits (LPP) of a DVD-R/-RW disk and an instrument therefor. SOLUTION: In the AR measurement method of LPPs of the DVD-R/-RW disk, peak values per wobbling signal are continuously sampled synchronously with the periodically repeated wobble signal, and Pmin and Pmax included in sampled data are obtained, and the AR of LPPs is measured by Pmin/Pmax.
