PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas alarm device that can perform an operation check in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The gas alarm device operates to issue an alarm when a detection output G obtained by detecting the presence of a detected gas has exceeded an alarm operation level W2, sets an alarm level L3 as an alarm operation level W2 in a normal operation state, and sets an alarm check level L2 lower than the alarm level L3 in a check operation state.
