PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a storage space in a storage, in a refrigerator for preserving rice and vegetables. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is constituted so that a cold air introducing port 19 and a cold air exhaust port 20 are arranged on an upper face plate 18 of a thermal insulation body 2 for a storage room so as to correspond to a cold air suction port 7 and a cold air blowout port 8 of a cooling unit 3; and a cold air introducing port 19a and a cold air exhaust port 20a are arranged on a lower face plate 21 of the thermal insulation body 2 for the storage room in a position extended in the longitudinal direction by the positional relationship between the cold air introducing port 19 and the cold air exhaust port 20. Thus, while preventing short circuit of cold air 15, a storage inside duct of conventionally reducing a storage space can be eliminated, and the storage space in the storage can be increased.
