PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air shower apparatus that prevents dust, or the like from being brought into a clean room while one who enters the clean room has adhered dust and hair to the bottom of shoes, and can reduce installation costs by dispensing with a construction, for example, for digging the floor of a building even if the air shower apparatus is installed in an existing building. SOLUTION: A blowout port 7 and a suction port 8 for an air current F2 crawling on the floor surface of a passage floor 6 generated by the operation of a fan 9 for air jet are open opposingly on the side of body cases 2, 3 placed at both the sides of the passage floor 6. The dust and hair adhering to the clothes of one who enters the clean room are blown off by an air jet air current F1, and the dust and hair falling on the floor surface of the passage floor 6 are captured by the air current 2 and are collected rapidly in an air shower chamber 5, thus preventing the dust and hair from being adhering to the bottom of the shoes of one who enters the clean room and preventing them from being brought into the clean room.
