PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which is capable of effectively suppressing sloshing in a large-sized liquid storing tank, and is also applicable to an existing storing tank. SOLUTION: A floating frame body 10 is provided which is held by an ascending force in the vicinity of a liquid face in a liquid storing tank with a cylindrical wall body 1 and restrained from a horizontal movement by coming into contact with the inner peripheral face of the wall body. In addition, a lower part frame body 20 is hung at a specified interval below this, and a flow resistance giving member 30 is held between the floating frame body 10 and the lower part frame body 20. The flow resistance giving member is a net-like body approximately vertically held, and gives a resistance to a liquid flow generated in the horizontal direction near the liquid face when sloshing is generated. The flow resistance giving member may be a perforated plate, a plurality of rod-like member, a lattice-like member or the like. In addition, by using a flexibly deforming member or a member whose length is changeable in the up and down direction, it is allowable to lower the floating frame body 10 and a floating ceiling 2 when a stored liquid is discharged.
