METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR TEMPORARILY CORRECTING SOFTWARE

There are provided a method and a program for temporarily correcting a program for a defect such as a security hole until a patch is distributed. The method for temporarily correcting software includes a step for receiving an argument before passing it to a function and a step for passing the argument to a corresponding function. When the received argument is in a range of a security hole of the function or an abnormal operation, the argument is modified into a value not corresponding to the range, thereby controlling the operation of the function.
