<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb distortion of each part of a connector caused by a positional error and a mounting error of a board in connector fitting to ensure a secure fitting property and duration reliability of the connector. <P>SOLUTION: Spaces 15 for flexure for permitting flexure of respective male terminals 13 are formed in the vicinities of the base ends of the respective male terminals 13 in a connector housing 10a of a male connector 10. Each male terminal 13 of the male connector 10 is provided, in a position located in the space 15 for flexure, with a small-diameter part 13b formed into a diameter smaller than that of a connection part 13a to a female terminal 14. Each male terminal 13 can absorb distortion of each part of the connector in connector fitting caused by positional errors and mounting errors of upper and lower printed circuit boards 1 and 2 by flexure of the small-diameter part 13b in the space 15 for flexure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
