<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode assembly which can reduce thickness of winding of the whole electrode assembly, and a lithium-ion secondary battery using this. <P>SOLUTION: In a negative electrode current collector 100, an active material 140 is formed in a region 120_1 in which a negative electrode conductive tab 150 is welded and in an outer peripheral edge of an overlapping region 120_2 adjacent to this. Furthermore, in a positive electrode current collector 200, an active material 240 is formed in a region 220_1 in which a positive electrode conductive tab 250 is welded and in an outer peripheral edge of an overlapping region 220-2 adjacent to this. Thus in the electrode assembly, because a part corresponding to the conductive tab is not protruded, the electrode assembly can be fitted easily into a can and a pouch or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
