<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of surely preventing the temperature of a developing sleeve carrying a developer from rising. <P>SOLUTION: A photoreceptor drum 10 and the developing sleeve 20 are held by a couple of adjusting rolls 40 at a fixed interval. Air vents 23 are formed in a shaft part 22 of the developing sleeve 20 and the couple of adjusting rolls 40 are provided with blades 42 surrounding the air vents 23. When the adjusting roll 40 provided to one shaft part 22 rotates, an air flow is generated toward the center side of the adjusting roll through the rotation of the blade 42 curved in the direction opposite from the rotating direction. Air flowing in the developing sleeve 20 through one air vent 23 circulates in the developing sleeve 20, to flow out of the developing sleeve 20 through the other air vent 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
