<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an igniter additionally provided with a control device without increase in size. <P>SOLUTION: In the igniter incorporated in an ignition device for an internal combustion engine, the igniter is provided with a switching element and a control element, each element is arranged on a board together with other components, and the parts are housed in a case and are integrated with mold resin.
