PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable remarkable reduction of hardware and configuration with an inexpensive memory by remarkably reducing a memory access rate. SOLUTION: An image recording/reproducing apparatus records a data unit into a recording medium 107, transmits a set of data unit and management information to a receiver via an ISO transfer IF 110 synchronously with a recording operation of the data unit into the recording medium 107.
