PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce thermal stress generated at a target part of an anode of an X-ray tube when large load is input to a fixed anode X-ray tube device. SOLUTION: A plate-shaped body 80 of copper alloy composed of molybdenum and copper is formed on a back face of a target 60 embedded in an anode mother material 62 of the anode 32 of the X-ray tube. Since the thermal expansion rate of the copper alloy is in the middle of that of tungsten and that of copper in the anode mother material 62, the value of the difference of thermal expansion rate at respective boundary faces between the target 60, the copper alloy plate 80, and the anode mother material 62 is lowered to almost half of that at the boundary face of conventional target 60 and anode mother material 62. By the above, the thermal stress generated at the back face of the target 60 at large load is reduced to almost half of that in the past. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
