PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous semiconductor storage device which sets delay time independently from an external clock signal and suppresses increase of time allocated to RAS restore operation resulting from the length of clock cycle time. SOLUTION: The synchronous semiconductor storage device is provided with; a synchronous timer circuit 10 where an output signal changes after the 1st delay time set by using an external clock signal; a delay circuit 20 where the output signal changes after the 2nd delay time set independently from the external clock signal; an output detection circuit 30 which outputs a switching signal when change of either an output signal of the synchronous timer circuit 10 or an output signal of the delay circuit 20 is detected; and a memory core 9 which is controlled by the switching signal to change from access operation to precharge operation.
