PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment diagnosing system excellent in measuring sensitivity and precision, small in size, capable of determinating the corrosiveness of environment continuously and diagnosing the corrosion life of a member. SOLUTION: In the environment diagnosing system, a thin film continuously changed in its composition comprising at least two kinds of pure metals or alloys of them is provided on a base material and the kind and concentration of the gas in an installation environment are judged from the moving direction of a resistance neutral point, which is present between two arbitrary points different in the composition on the thin film and becomes equal in the electric resistances from two points, accompanied by corrosion and the moving speed thereof.
