PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ruler which can be easily operated when a line is drawn, by providing a plate-like protrusion, continuing from both ends, on the ruler. SOLUTION: The ruler 1 is provided with the plate-like protrusion 3 continuing from both the longitudinal ends, so as to be capable of being easily operated without slipping.
