GAS DETECTOR AND FUEL CELL SYSTEM EQUIPPED THEREWITH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector preventing water from staying around a gas detection element to further enhance its reliability, and to provide a fuel cell system equipped therewith.

SOLUTION: This gas detector is equipped with a gas detection chamber 15 connected to an inspecting object gas passage 14 for allowing an inspecting object gas to flow therethrough. The detector is equipped with the gas detection element 1 for detecting the object gas introduced into the detection chamber 15 and opening-to-air devices 16 and 17 provided in the vicinity of the detection element 1 for opening the detection chamber 15 to air.
