<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a catalyst particle constituting a catalyst layer from being compressed/destroyed when a container is repeatedly thermally expanded/contracted in a structure filled with the catalyst layer in the container. <P>SOLUTION: In the catalyst filling structure, the catalyst particles 20 having smaller heat expansion ratio than the container A are filled in the container A having the heat expansion property to form the catalyst layer B. When the container A is contracted after the heat expansion, particles 21 having larger heat expansion property than the catalyst layer B are mixed to the catalyst layer B so as to prevent compressing/destroying of the catalyst particle 20 caused by reduction of an internal volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
