METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPOUND MATERIAL BETWEEN POLYMER AND HYDROXYAPATITE FORMED INSIDE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply forming a compound material in which hydroxyapatite useful as an artificial bone material, etc., is firmly bonded to the inside of a polymer substrate and which has excellent biocompatibility.

SOLUTION: The method for producing a compound material between hydroxyapatite to form hydroxyapatite in the inside of a polymer and the polymer comprises immersing a swelling polymer in a supersaturated solution of hydroxyapatite prepared by adding a polymer electrolyte to an aqueous solution containing calcium ion and phosphate ion. The method provides a transparent hydroxyapatite compound material firmly stuck to a polymer.
