<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus easily and at low cost, performing processing to prevent unauthorized copying, when outputting an image. <P>SOLUTION: When the performance of the processing to prevent the unauthorized copying is inputted, an ink applying means 30 forms a copying preventing area 31 by applying color ink at a prescribed position on the image surface of paper 21 having passed through a fixing part 14. An image, formed on the paper 21 in an image forming part P and fixed in the fixing part 14, can be recognized visually through the copying preventing area 31.
