<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein that is useful for detecting the whole malignant tumors, for example, cancer and the like, as a diagnostic reagent, and provide a diagnostic method for malignant tumor that is effective for diagnosis for judging that the specimen is a malignant tumor or not by examining this protein, thus the diagnostic method is applied to the primary screening of medical examination to enable the early diagnosis of malignant tumors and attain the early treatment. <P>SOLUTION: This invention provides a protein that specifically interacting with antiPCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen) polyclonal antibody and has a larger molecular weight than the PCNA on the SDS-PAGE or its modified body, further factors that specifically interact with the protein or its modifiers, and kits, compositions and methods using them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
