<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means and an apparatus for protecting an organism from high voltage when AC magnetic field is applied in the light of circumstances where in using a medical treatment apparatus adapted to heat a tumor to be necrotic by indwelling an implant in the organism and applying an alternating current thereto, high voltage is caused between the electrodes of a coil so that there is the fear of an electric shock due to the occurrence of discharge, dew condensation is caused on the coil by circulation of cooling water, resulting in heightening the risk of an electric shock due to such moisture, and further it is considered that high voltage more than estimated is generated due to malfunction of a high-frequency power supply, so that it is necessary to take a satisfactory safety measure. <P>SOLUTION: The whole apparatus is composed of a high-frequency power supply, a matching device, a coil and a shield. An insulator having enough withstand voltage is grounded between the organism and the coil so that the organism is not damaged by high voltage generated in the coil. In order to prevent dew condensation, it is desirable to blow the air to the coil. In the generation of high voltage more than estimated, a means for controlling the voltage is attached to avoid the danger.
