<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent setting errors by permitting print settings to be changed during a print preview, and limiting a range that can be set. <P>SOLUTION: A previewer 208 displays preview image data created by a printer graphic driver 206 and stored in a preview file 209, reads the current print setting information 209a, and displays items whose settings are permitted to be changed and their current set values.
