PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AV system provided with an alarm clock function much higher than a common alarm clock in an alarming capability. SOLUTION: This AV system in which video and sound outputs can be controlled and time is settable is provided with a timer means for outputting a question by on operation of video and sound outputs and video outputting as an alarming operation on the basis of when a set time comes, an operation limiting means for nullifying at least the off operation of the power source for the alarming operation, an alarm releasing means for releasing an alarming operation when an operation corresponding to an answer to the question outputted by the alarming operation, and a setting means capable of presetting the degree of difficulty of the question outputted in the alarming operation.
