PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based ink for a ball-point pen affording unconventional light and smooth writing quality by adding a specific lubricant in the amount formulated within a certain range. SOLUTION: The oil-based ink for the ball-point pen comprises at least a colorant, an organic solvent and one or two or more kinds selected from an N-acylamino acid, an N-acylmethyltaurine, an N-acylmethylalanine and a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether in an amount of≥5 to≤60 wt.%.
