PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outlet cap for a toxic gas container valve for removing toxic gas existing in an inner space of an on-off valve of a gas container. SOLUTION: The outlet cap 20 detachably mounted to a gas outlet of a gas outflow passage of the on-off valve which is mounted to a toxic gas container has a bottom wall part 21, a peripheral wall part 22 extending from the bottom wall part 21 and a gasket 23 provided on an inner face of the bottom wall part 21 for sealing the gas outlet. The gasket 23 has a toxic gas absorbing means 25 made of a material which does not chemically react with toxic gas stored in the container so as not to harm sealing performance of the gasket 23 and mounted to the gasket 23. When the outlet cap 20 is mounted to the gas outlet, the toxic gas absorbing means 25 is exposed to the gas outflow passage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
