PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide handicraft clay superior in modeling and easy to be reduced in soil, a plant pot modeling material superior in modeling easy for reducing in soil, and a plant pot kit which even children can handle that contains the modeling material. SOLUTION: This handicraft clay contains plant powder 5-20 wt.%, volcanic ash balloons 10-20 wt.%, talc 10-21 wt.%, pulp 5-11 wt.%, glue material 0.1-5 wt.%, and moisture 30-60 wt.%, and this plant powder is made into stalks cut into 1-5mm lengths. The modeling material contains this handicraft clay 1000, plant rough powder 200-800, polyvinyl alcohol 30-150 wt.parts, and carboxymethyl cellulose 1-10 wt.parts, and the plant rough powder is made into stalks cut into 5-30mm lengths.
