PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably remove measurement inhibiting components which cause corrosion of component parts, clogging of a cooler, reductions in measurement accuracy, etc. without causing dissolution and loss of a component to be measured even in the case of exhaust gases having only a small amount of moisture content. SOLUTION: A filter 7 for removing solid contents; a drain separator 8; and an electron cooler 12 are sequentially arranged from the upstream side to the downstream side in a sample gas channel 6 of this pretreatment apparatus 1 for gas analysis. Both a bubbling tank 9 for storing a specified amount of a dilute acid liquid, bubbling sample gases in the dilute acid liquid, dissolving and removing most part of corrosive gases in the sample gases and solidifying or dissolving and removing high-temperature vaporized materials and a scrubber 10 for separating and removing residual corrosive gases are installed on the downstream side of the drain separator 8 of the sample gas channel 6.
