PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mostly prevent single-strand DNA, double-strand DNA, etc. from nonspecifically adsorbing onto a solid phase surface. SOLUTION: (1) Single-strand probe nucleic acid D, (2) single-strand target nucleic acid T, (3) two-strand nucleic acid W generated by hybridization, and (4) a buffer solution (medium M) of a prescribed salt concentration adjusted so that a fluorescent material I intercalated between base pair portions of the nucleic acid W can be prevented from being nonspecifically adsorbed, are added to a reaction region 2 for providing a field for hybridization between a probe nucleic acid D fixed onto the solid phase surface S charged positively and a target nucleic acid T to perform hybridization detection (especially, detection by an intercalator), fixation of the nucleic acid D, etc. by means of a nucleotide array chip 1.
