PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heating cooker for reducing thermal influence on a control part, while enhancing heating efficiency. SOLUTION: This electric heating cooker is provide with an inner casing 50 for forming a heating chamber 51 having an opening 51a on a front face, a door 57 for opening and closing the opening 51a, an upper heater 52 and a lower heater 53 arranged above and below the inner casing 50, a grid 54 arranged between the upper/lower heaters 52 and 53 and longitudinally moving by interlocking with opening-closing operation of the door 57, a net bar 56 hooked on a rear part of the grid 54 and having both ends sliding in an elongate hole 55 arranged in both side parts of the inner casing 50, and a shielding plate 60 for interlocking with the opening-closing operation of the door 57 and substantially closing the elongate hole 55 when closing the door 57. Since the elongate hole 55 arranged on a side wall of the inner casing 50 is substantially closed by the shielding plate 60 when closing the door 57, heating efficiency is enhanced without releasing heat in the inner casing 50.
