PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fraudulent act relating to slotting of tokens in a game machine represented by a slot machine. SOLUTION: This game machine is equipped with a detecting means which is arranged in a passage through which slotted tokens pass, and detects the passing of the tokens. In the game machine, the detecting means is equipped with first and second sensors which are arranged along the passage. The first and second sensors are an optical sensor equipped with a light emitting element and a light receiving element which are arranged across the passage. On one side of the passage, the light emitting element of the first sensor and the light receiving element of the second sensor are arranged, and on the other side of the passage, the light receiving element of the first sensor and the light emitting element of the second sensor are arranged respectively.
