PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining chair allowing a seated person to oscillate mainly a seat part or mainly a backrest part independently by moving the weight of the person according to the liking of the person by a simple link mechanism of reclining, and to oscillate the seat part and the backrest part at a desired opening angle. SOLUTION: A seat part support rod 3 is rotatably supported by a shaft at the upper end of a leg post 2 erected at the center of a leg base 1 mounted on the floor, and a backrest part support rod 4 is rotatably supported by a shaft into a shaft hole formed at the rear end of the seat part support rod 3 at a position near the lower end of the backrest support rod 4. The backrest part support rod 4 is oscillated and tilted with the shaft hole as a fulcrum by an elastic member 6A pivotally attached between the lowest end of the backrest part support rod 4 and an intermediate part of the leg post 2.
