An imaging element (1) comprising a filter (2B) employed for extracting a specific color component of incident light, a light receiving element (3B) for observing the incident light through the filter (2B), a correction filter (2Blk) having a transmission suppressing characteristics in the visible light wavelength region and a transmission characteristic in the wavelength region longer than the visible light wavelength region, and a correction light-receiving element (3Blk) for observing the incident light through the correction filter (2Blk) in order to correct the result of observation by the light-receiving element (3B).
