The invention relates to an infrared lighting device for motor vehicles, for example a headlight, comprising a radiation source and a filter. Said device emits white and infrared radiation having a defined intensity in a wavelength range of from 800 to 1200 nm in one axis. The filter, under a first angle, is adapted to transmit a first visible portion, and, under a second angle different from the first angle, is adapted to transmit a second visible portion of the radiation source, each portion transmitted giving a white light. |
