The fitting has a control agent (5) provided for a continuous height adjustment of a grill grid (2) opposite to the fire place. The control agent is implemented as a threading spindle that is pivoted to a supporting device and arranged non-parallel to a grid level of the grill grid. The grill grid is tiltably attached at the supporting mechanism between a function position and a resting position. An independent claim is also included for a grill arrangement comprising a grill grid fitting.
