<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method between videophones capable of carrying out secrecy communication by realizing complete voice secrecy in a communication state through the elimination of the possibility of interception by means of lipreading. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing section 12 of a sender side videophone 1 applies particular screen processing (encryption processing or mosaic processing) to an entire region or a prescribed region of a screen so as to disable interception by means of lipreading. An image processing section 62 of a receiver side videophone 2 applies screen processing (decryption processing or de-mosaic processing) inverse to the screen processing (encryption processing or mosaic processing) by the image processing section 12 to all or part of received video data. Complete voice secrecy communication is realized by encrypting the entire screen image and transmitting the encrypted image or applying separate processing to the image of the mouth part of a talker and transmitting so as to preclude the possibility of voice interception by means of lipreading. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
