<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector for facilitating zero-point correction on a detection element while simplifying a system to reduce weight thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This gas detector is equipped with the gas detection element for detecting an inspecting object gas in a prescribed temperature range without practically detecting the object gas outside the temperature range, and a temperature control device for performing temperature control on the detection element. A control device is provided for bringing the temperature of the detection element out of the prescribed temperature range (step S18) when performing the zero-point correction on the detection element, and performing control (step S20) to bring an output of the detection element in the relevant state into a zero-state reference value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
