<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat damage to internal circuits of a light protection device. <P>SOLUTION: The light protection device 43, which protects from overvoltage bicycle lights lighted by electric power from a hub dynamo 40 mounted on a bicycle, comprises a case member 43a and an overvoltage protection circuit 43b. The case member has a mounting part mountable on the bicycle.
