PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adhesive for joining an etching plate which constitutes an ink passage and a nozzle plate with each other from flowing into a nozzle hole. SOLUTION: The nozzle plate 30 where nozzles 8 are formed, and a cover plate 29 where communication holes 29a are formed are stacked via the adhesive 110 so that the center line of the nozzle 8 agrees with the center line of the communication hole 29a. A pressing plate 106 where escape holes 106a with the same shape as that of the communication holes 29a are formed is stacked on the nozzle plate 30 so that the center line of the nozzle 8 agrees with the center line of the escape hole 106a. A pressing tool 108 presses the nozzle plate 30 and the cover plate 29 so as not to press a region held between a circle which defines a discharge opening 8a of the nozzle 8 and a circle which defines a communication hole opening 29b of the communication hole 28, and so as to press a region outside of the circle which defines the communication hole opening 29b, in a plan view of an ink discharge face.
