PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for machining composite materials using electric discharge machining. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing components includes a process for providing a work (20) and the process for providing an electric discharge machine (10) equipped with an electrode tool (30). This electric discharge machine (10) operates to the work piece (20) for removing part of the work (20). The method for manufacturing composite material magnets includes the process for providing the work (20) which consists of composite materials including a material (46) capable of being magnetized and synthetic resin (48).
