<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane separation type sewage treatment apparatus with which sewage can be treated while dispensing with a flow rate adjusting tank even when the amount of the sewage to be treated exceeds the throughput capacity of an immersed membrane separation unit temporarily and to provide a method for operating this sewage treatment apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The membrane separation type sewage treatment apparatus is characterized in that a partition 4 is arranged in a bio-reaction tank 1 to divide the inside of the bio-reaction tank 1 into the first reaction tank 2 in which sewage is made to flow and the second reaction tank 3 which is communicated with the first reaction tank 2 and in which the immersed membrane separation unit 9 is housed, a first diffuser 7 and a second diffuser 8 are arranged respectively in the first reaction tank 2 and the second reaction tank 3, a supernatant liquid discharging means 21 is arranged in the first reaction tank 2 for discharging a supernatant liquid, and sewage supply destination changing-over means 19, 20 for changing-over a supply destination of sewage from the first reaction tank 2 to the second reaction tank 3 are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
